Moroccan Arabic is an Arabic dialect of the standard Arabic language and is spoken by approximately 20 million people as a native language and about 12 million as a second language. The vocabulary of this dialect shows a strong influence of Berber languages, which are also widespread in Morocco.

Die bedeutendsten Städte des nordafrikanischen Landes sind Casablanca, die Hauptstadt Rabat, Fès, Marrakesch, Agadir, Tanger und Meknès. In Marokko gehören neun Stätte zum UNESCO Welterbe. Ca 34 Millionen Menschen leben in Marokko. Das Staatsoberhaupt des Landes ist König Mohammed VI.
